In the video, the teen shows a gun and states that if someone messes with him tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 26) and he goes to school he is willing to kill someone.

Police investigators were able to quickly identify the teenager in the video - Shelton High School student Eliezer Reyes, 18 - and recovered a gun that matched the one in the threatening video. The school was expected to have an increased security presence on Thursday.

Reyes was arrested and charged with threatening, breach of peace and brandishing a facsimile firearm. He’s currently being held on a $50,000 bond.

“Thank you to all that swiftly reported this incident to the police and provided the video for the investigation,” police said. “This was key to resolving this issue in a timely manner.”
